Changes to the commercial structureBusiness22 JunWith the arrival of Simon Van Kerckhoven as Commercial Director, Beerschot is strengthening its commercial operations.Simon brings with him the necessary experience from the world of football, having previously worked for organisations including the City Football Group, Lommel SK and, most recently, RAEC Mons. At Beerschot, he will further shape and steer the club’s overall commercial strategy and internationalisation, with the aim of achieving sustainable growth.
In addition, Kaj Schueremans, as Head of B2B & Partnerships, will focus entirely on the further development and management of the club’s existing partner relationships. For our current partners, Kaj remains the familiar point of contact for everything relating to partnerships, hospitality and networking opportunities. In this role, he will further strengthen ties with our business community and ensure optimal support for our partners.
The commercial team is supported in this by Mathijs Leroy, who, as Ticketing & Event Manager, helps take the pressure off our partners on match days. On non-match days, our club aims to make the most of the Olympic Stadium. Mathijs will play a key role in this as the point of contact for the hire of our various business spaces.
