Brent Stevens signs a three-year contract with BeerschotMen19 JunBeerschot has strengthened its squad with the signing of goalkeeper Brent Stevens. The 22-year-old Belgian has signed a three-year contract (with a one-year option) at the Kiel and joins from KRC Genk. Last season, Stevens played for Jong Genk in the Challenger Pro League, where he gained valuable experience at professional level. With his arrival, Beerschot has brought in a young, ambitious goalkeeper who is set to further intensify the competition between the posts.
Brent Stevens is already looking forward to his new challenge in the purple and white: “This is a fantastic moment for me to be able to sign for this great club. Beerschot’s loyal supporters appeal to everyone and I can’t wait to start pre-season training. I’m looking forward to showing what I can do and achieving great results together with the team.”
Sporting Director Murat Akin is also pleased with the goalkeeper’s arrival: “Beerschot has been following Brent for several years and we are convinced that he will strengthen the competition in goal. He has the right mentality and has developed well over the past few seasons. It is now up to him to prove himself during pre-season and earn his place within the squad.” Beerschot warmly welcomes Brent to the Kiel and wishes him every success in the purple and white shirt.
