Against Kortrijk, Beerschot conceded another goal from a set piece, a recurring problem this season. What does Ryan think is the reason for this? "I think it's a combination of several factors. Kortrijk's corner kick was excellently taken and well finished, you have to admit that. But we could defend a little more aggressively in such situations. Luck also plays a role, and we sometimes lack that a little. The most important thing is that we don't let it get to us, but learn from it. I am convinced that we will get even sharper."
Tomorrow, RWDM Brussels awaits. Frédéric Frans' team has had an inconsistent season so far and conceded a late equaliser against Jong Genk last weekend. "There will be two teams on the pitch looking to set things right", says Ryan. "That late goal was undoubtedly a blow for RWDM. They are playing at home again and want to show their fans something.
