Welcome, Arnold VulaMen25 JulBeerschot has signed a new striker: 26-year-old Congolese Arnold Vula has signed a two-year contract with the Kiel (with an option for a third year). Vula began his career in his home country with RC Kinshasa before moving to Kuya Sport. In 2021, he made the move to France, where he joined US Ivry in the Championnat National 3. After playing for several other French clubs, he ended up at Le Mans FC at the start of last season, which plays in the Championnat National, the third tier in France. He immediately made an impression there: with 17 goals in 27 games, he proved his worth as a goalscorer.
The physically strong striker is known for his strength in duels and his coolness in the box. Vula himself is particularly motivated: "I am incredibly proud to be able to take this step at the age of 26. I consider myself a late bloomer, but last season I felt that my best years are ahead of me. Playing for a club with such a strong fan base as Beerschot only makes me more eager to get started."
