Beerschot beat amateur team Nielse by six goals to nil on Tuesday night. All goals were scored in the second half: Kosiah, Reyners, Nzita, Konstantopoulos and Michez put themselves on the scoring sheet. The home goalkeeper helped as well with an own goal.
Andreas Wieland fielded a very young team in the first half. The youngsters played well, created a handfull of opportunities but failed to score as the Nielse goalie played a blinder, denying every 'on target' opportunity.
After the break and ten substitutions Beerschot upped the tempo and immediately ran riot. First Kosiah scored his fourth in four matches, with Nzita providing. After a Nielse own goal Reyners (after a solo), Nzita (after a combination with Reyners), Konstantopoulos (with a volley) and Michez added with goals for a 6-0 final score.
