Ilias El Kaddouri has signed his first professional contract for Beerschot. The 15 year old midfielder was spotted at Eppegem last season and moved to Beerschot where he met the expectations. After putting pen to paper he will stay at our club until June 2025, with an option for another season.
"We are glad we can make him a full member of our Academy", Academy Manager Davy De Smedt says. "He is technically very strong and combines his talent with a clever drive. I am sure he will fit perfectly in our high press phylosophy."
"His main working point is getting physically stronger", De Smedt continues. "We will be focusing on power training in the gym. Normally he will start in the U16
squad from next season with the possibility to lead him gradually through the ranks. Now it is time for his individual development."
