Today 54 year old Dutchman Dirk Heesen signed a contract to become Beerschot's assistant coach until the end of the season. Previously he was assistant at TOP Oss, Willem II and ADO Den Haag in Holland and QPR in the English Championship.
"I am eager to start this new challenge along with Dirk Kuyt and the other members of the staff. Beerschot goes well with my personality. This club breathes football, the supporters are fanatic. That's exactly what I like", Heesen says.
The training sessions for the second part of the season start on Wednesday the 3rd on our training ground in Wommelgem. Beerschot's coaching staff consists of Dirk Kuyt, his assistants Dirk Heesen and Frank Magerman, goalkeeper coach Tome Pacovski, video analist Patrice Pfeiffer, Head of Performance Gianni Chiffi and U23 team coach Frédéric Frans.
