- DEFINITIONS
Personal Data Law
means (i) EU Data Protection Directive (Directive 95/46/EC) of 25 October 1995 or each implementing or related national law, (ii) EU Directive on privacy and electronic communications (Directive 2002/58/EC) of 12 July 2002 or each implementing or related national law, (iii) Regulation (EU) 611/2013 of 24 June 2013 concerning measures for reporting infringements in connection with personal data on the basis of directive 2002/58/EC of the European Parliament and the Council relating to privacy and electronic communication, (iv) Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 concerning the protection of natural persons in connection with the processing of personal data and concerning the free movement of the data and to repeal Directive 95/46/EC from 25 May 2018, and (vi) any other current or future applicable legislation that concerns or has an impact on privacy and the processing of personal data.

- The protection of your privacy and personal data is of the greatest importance to us. This Privacy Policy describes how we will process your personal data.

- K. Beerschot V.A. NV (the “Club”) is a Belgian company established at Atletenstraat 80, 2020 Antwerp and is registered on the Crossroads Bank of Companies under number 0698.992.391. Our contact details are available on our website.

- The Club qualifies as a data controller as defined in the Law on Personal Data for the processing of your personal data for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy.
- PERSONAL DATA
The Club will process the following personal data on you:
- (i) name, (ii) address, (iii) email address, (iv) physical characteristics (including clothing sizes, length, weight), (v) information about physical tests, (vi) date of birth, (vii) place of birth, (viii) previous football clubs, (ix) preferences, (x) data e-kick-off, (xi) telephone number, (xii) current school and (xiii) team photo.
- PURPOSES OF THE PROCESSING

- The Club will process your Personal Data for the following purposes:
- (i) update players lists, (ii) team formation, (iii) registrations with the Royal Belgian Football Association (the “RBFA”), (iv) invitations for practical training organised by the Club, (v) provided in suitable club kit, (vi) requests for subsidies, (vii) correct filling in of licence files, (viii) study guidance, (ix) communication with player and parent(s) concerning football-related matters, (x) calculations of training payments and (xi) monitoring progress and development of football qualities.
- The Club will process your Personal Data for the following purposes:

- We will notify you beforehand if the Club intends to process your personal data for other purposes than the purposes mentioned in this Privacy Policy.
- LEGAL BASIS

- You explicitly consent to the processing of your personal data for the purposes mentioned by the Club in this Privacy Policy, by being informed of this or by other notification. You have the right to withdraw your permission at any time. This withdrawal will have no effect on the legality of the processing of personal data based on your permission prior to the withdrawal of the permission.

- In some cases the processing of your personal data is required to conclude and carry out an agreement with you such as but not limited to the registration of the player at the Royal Belgian Football Association, compliance with the internally regulations, the follow-up of the development of the football qualities. The carrying out of an agreement will in that case qualify as the legal basis for processing personal data (as distinct from your permission). You are contractually bound to share your personal data with us in that respect. We cannot carry out the agreement if you object to the processing of your personal data.

- Sending commercial messages (direct marketing) by for example email or text message is in some cases permitted without you having given your permission for this, for example because these messages are linked to previous contacts with you or if you have expressed interest in products of the Club. You may inform the Club at any time that you no longer wish to receive direct marketing messages (unsubscribe).
- RECEIVERS OF PERSONAL DATA

- The Club may forward your personal data to associated companies, suppliers and partners, only in connection with the purposes specified in article 4 of this Privacy Policy, such as but not limited to association bodies, other clubs, etc.

- The Club may also forward your personal data to third parties if the Club is compelled to do this based on legal provisions and/or decisions of law courts (including but not limited to stadium bans).
- FORWARDING PERSONAL DATA
The Club will only process your Personal Data in the European Economic Area.
- PERIOD WITHIN WHICH THE CLUB WILL SAVE PERSONAL DATA
The Club will save your Personal Data for the whole duration during which you use the services of the Club, for as long as required for the above-mentioned purposes, or for as long as the Club is required by law to save your Personal Data. The Club will in any event delete or anonymise your personal data (as the Club sees fit) as soon as you delete your account.
- YOUR RIGHTS

- In compliance with the provisions of Personal Data legislation you have the right to (i) request access to, the correction of or deletion of your personal data, (ii) request the restriction of processing your personal data or object to the processing thereof, (iii) obtain your personal data in a structured, usual and machine-readable form and (iv) submit a complaint to the supervisory body (the Belgian Privacy Commission, www.privacycommissie.be).

- You can exercise the abovementioned rights by sending a request to privacy@beerschot.be or through a similar technical solution present on the website.
- CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
The Club reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. The Club will announce each changed version of this Privacy Policy and request your permission in compliance with the provisions of article 5.1. of this Privacy Policy.
