Winger Simion Michez became Beerschot's first summer transfer when he signed a contradt until 2026. The 21-year old was lured away transfer free from RSCA Futures Anderlecht where he played 26 games.

Michez is originally from Charleroi. "It is there where I started playing football. When I was six I moved to Anderlecht and became a member of their Youth Academy", he recollects vividly. "I steamed through the ranks at Neerpede and even became youth internzational. When Vincent Kompany was head coach I trained with the first team squad. I learned a lot there and then and made good progress in a short time."

"At the beginning of the season I featured for RSCA Futures in the Challenger Pro League, both in defence and up front. It made me a more versatile player. I scored twice, against Beveren and RWDM, making the most of my speed, which is one of my stronger points. Signing for Beerschot is a new challenge. I can't wait to play in front of their fanatical supporters."
