Today Ilias Sebaoui signed a contract with Dutch Eredivisie champions Feyenoord. The 21 year old Moroccon youth international joined Beerschot's Youth Academy - first Germinal Beerschot, then Beerschot AC - when he was 7 and returned in 2013 after the club went bankrupt. Last season he signed his first contract as a professional and played 41 games for the first team, scoring 4 goals and contributing with 1 assist.
At the end of last season Ilias and his entourage told the club management he was looking for a new challenge away from Beerschot. When Feyenoord made him an offer to come to Rotterdam in Holland he didn't hesitate and decided to join the Dutch champions.
Beerschot would like to thank Ilias for his contribution and effort during his stay at "het Kiel" and wish him every succes in his career.
