BEERSCHOT SIGNS GREEK CENRAL DEFENDER APOSTOLOS KONSTANTOPOULOS
Apostolos Konstantopoulos is Beerschot's latest newcomer. The 18 year old central defender from Greece's firsst division club Panetolikos signed a contract until June 2024, with an option for an extra season.

"He is a quality defender, Greek youth international, strong in one on one situations and has flair in abundance. Konstantopoulos - his nickname is 'Tolis' - was ever present at Panetolikos' defense in the Greek Super League last season and also won two caps for Greece's U21 squad.
Vice chairman Walter Damen is already in awe of Beerschot's new acquisition. "Once again we invest in a young, talented and promising player. At the same time we are proud these youngsters opt for our club. We are trying to compile a squad with a perfect balance between experienced players and talented youngsters. So creating a perfect seting for the youngsters to develop further in addition to a incessant cross-pollination that makes everyone better."
