ANDI KOSHI SIGNS CONTRACT

Andi Koshi is newcomer number nine in the summer transfer window. The 21 year old today signed a contract until June 2024 with an option for another season.

"This feels like coming home", Andi said after putting pen to paper. "I played in the Beerschot Academy until the U9 ranks, then joined Anderlecht and went on to PSV Eindhoven in Holland." In 2018 he was transferred to Cercle Brugge where he became a pro and was a member of the first team squad for four seasons.

"Being back at Beerschot is a nice feeling. It has been a while since I was here but I still know Ilias Sebaoui and also played with Ryan Sanusi at a square just round the corner where I lived. Mardo Nzita is my best mate though. We played at Anderlecht together and were in the same class at school."

Technical manager Sander Van Praet praises his new acquisition. "Andi deserves this contract as he performed well during his trial period the last couple of weeks. He convinced everybody of the staff  with his technical abilities and running power. On top of that he is a local lad with a history at our club."
